My Life Project

The My Life Project was the project I was looking forward to the most through the whole trimester! I really enjoyed looking through all my old pictures and things. I loved the free reign we were allowed to do what we really wanted with the project. Tech class was so fun and I'm going to miss it a lot. I learned so much about how to use iMovie, garageband, and iPhoto, not only in this project but throughout the whole year. Tech class will definitely help me with all the functions of a laptop or a computer later in life and through my high school career.

music genome

The music genome project was by far my favorite project. I loved looking up the music I put in my video. I loved my genre! This project definitely interested me the most because it was about something that I not only know, but like to learn about. I was very excited to use iMovie because I haven't really ever used it before. I was amazed at how many effects you could use, and all the different ways you can use information. iMoive makes anything you do look professional and well done. I am excited to use it again for the My Life project.

storyboard

Before we actually made the video for our PND culture project we made a story board. We all worked together very well and we each had our own independent jobs. I think that doing the storyboard was a great starter to the video. Brian and John were definitely a big help with all the technological things we had to figure out and accomplish. Gina, Emily, and I all enjoyed our jobs because they related to things we liked. We liked looking up the quotes and pictures, and we feel that these elements make the video more interesting and it really catches the viewers eye.

culture video project

I really enjoyed doing this project. It was nice to do it in a group and assign jobs. Emily and I had fun looking up quotes together. Gina did a great job looking up some of the pictures even though they weren't all used. Brian did a great job putting the video together as well. Brian and John also did a great job interviewing Mr. Donnelly. We all came up with the questions and the layout but it was really amazing to see it all come together and finally look professional and clean. I enjoyed working with google docs, and especially iMovie. I am looking forward to using iMovie in other projects as well.

Podcast

I thought this project was very fun. I was glad I got to talk about something I actually cared about instead of something random too. It was very informative to use garageband. Garageband is very hard to use, but once you get the hang of it it gets a little easier. It was hard to cut it so your voice, the music, and the pictures were in unison. Once it was done I was very happy to see how good it looked. I could never have done anything like this before. It was very fun to see the finished product look so professional and creative.

Storyboard

I was very glad to do this project. I like the fact that we are in groups and we can divide the work. It was fun for me to look up photos and quotes. I was definitely doing something I was interested in because I love visuals and I love quotes. The Google Docs was a big help. Everyone in our group got to work on the project at once. It was definitely a time saver. I was also glad we got to do the Christian Service Program because there was so much information for us to use. We had so many options. Also, it will be fun to interview Mr. Donnelly because he is always so nice, and he definitely knows what he's talking about when it comes the Christian Service Program.

iPhoto Project

The iPhoto project was very fun to work on. I learned so many things about iPhoto. I realized how much I like to make media projects on my computer and I am very excited to continue media projects in this class. Putting music to the video was tricky, and I tried to cut a song to fit my video, but it didn't work as well as I was hoping. I decided that it looked better with four second intervals between pictures, and it went better with the beat of the song that way. The iPhoto project has been the most fun project we have done this year, and it has also allowed us to be more creative.
